Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Mother set up a trust and put my name on all her accounts. The account numbers were never recorded in the trust. Who do the accounts belong to ? Another account was in her name only, but I was the only Beneficiary on the account, who does the account belong to ?

Accounts held in joint tenancy or having a valid beneficiary designation are technically not subject to the provisions of the trust. But if you believe your mother intended for all the assets to be divided between you and your siblings, it might behoove you to follow her wishes if you care about continuing a relationship with them.
