Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
My parents have a living trust. They have both resigned as trustees of their trust due to health issues. My sister, as successor trustee has taken over managment of the trust. As a beneficiary of the trust, does my sister need to provide me with any information about what is going on with the trust, what is in the turst, etc.?

You may ask for and should receive a copy of that portion of the trust that involves you. As an interested beneficiary, you may ask for and are entitled to an accounting within a reasonable time. If you don't receive it, you can petition the court to intervene by requiring an accounting.
Trustees upon reasonable request from beneficiaries are supposed to provide an accounting. If she will not complain, to your parents but they probably will not do anything. Try to convince your sister that if the roles were reversed she would want to know from you what was in the account. perhaps the records are in such disarray that she can not put much together, so offer to help.
The settlor can provide for the trustee to be free of an accounting duty. You need to start with a copy of the trust documents.
