Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Both Parties have settled on an Estate. It will be signed off by the judge in a month. I was the only beneficiary that doesn't have a lawyer. My question is - How do I get my stuff or can I file a petition for preliminary distribution ? If so, how do I file ?

Not sure what you mean by the judge signing off in a month, but if you are talking about a final accounting and an order for final distribution, then that is when you should receive whatever you are supposed to receive under the will. You should contact the attorney for the estate and make sure you receive papers that are being filed so you can have a better idea of what is going on. You can also ask the lawyer for the estate when you are going to receive the distribution. I don't think a preliminary distribution is sensible if they are close to a final distribution next month.
