There is usually a minimum of 120 days to allow for notice to creditors and beneficiaries in case there is some challenge. There can be a partial distribution with funds held back for payment of claims or taxes. Some trusts have complicated assets and liquidating those assets can take time. If you are on good terms with the trustee, you should ask about timing of distributions. Or, retain a lawyer to assist you.
