Re-Schedule

How many times is a lawyer allowed to re-schedule court dates & What actions can we take to prevent this. (Court Dates have been extended twice and its been almost 6 months.)

There is no rule on this. Most dates that are delayed are because either the court or one of the attorneys is unavoidably unable to proceed in that case on the appointed day. Sometimes it is an important witness. Dates continued twice is not unusual.
