Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
I am a Successor Trustee for my parents Trust. I have been ordered by the court to auction a Trust property in order to pay legal fees, reimburse myself for expenses advanced at Trustee and Conservator for one of my parents, with the remainder being set aside for their care.
Can I require that the auction company set a minimum bid amount?

Unless the court or the Trust instrument itself limits you, you have a wide discretion as to how you sell the property.
