Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Trust

Recently, I have discovered that my brother's trust has been altered in that where in I was given 20% of the sale of his house and assets, it has been changed and I know the Trustee had the lawyer to do this because several of us read the original Trust. They're trying to give everything to my brother's girlfriend who has a little girl who is leglal, but the mother is an illegal alien who came here under the fence. What can I do to stop this? Can I file an injunction myself?

Re: Trust

Thank you for your posting on LawGuru.com, and the opportunity for me to help you by responding to your posting.

I am going to be more cautious in my answer, as the answer to your question truly depends on the wording of the language used in the original (before changes) trust, as well as the "status" of the trust. It will likely take a careful reading of the trust, and the changes to the trust, including other information, such as the status of your brother, to give a comprehensive answer as to what your rights and remedies are here.

I hope this helps. If you do have other questions, feel that you need legal representation, or want legal advice, please feel free to email me directly at rmiller[at]expertlawfirm.com. It's my pleasure to help in any way that I can. Thank you.

Re: Trust

If you are right, you need to file a lawsuit against the trustee. Call if you want, and we can discuss the matter briefly.
