The county bar association in your county most likely operates a lawyer referral service. You can also try an internet service like Lawyer.com. Or you can post the relevant facts and issues here and see if any of us attorneys who volunteer to answer questions on LawGuru are interested in taking your case. Bear in mind, though, pro bono is short for "pro bono publico" meaning "for the public good." A case that only benefits you personally is not going to be taken pro bono; a contingent fee agreement would be more appropriate for that. However, for an attorney to take a case on contingency, there must be both enough money at stake and enough certainty of winning that the lawyer knows they will get paid enough to take the case. We have to pay our overhead and support our families. So we can't take contingent cases that won't result in adequate payment.
