Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My wife recently passed away and our property grant deed is recorded in both our names. I want to file an affidavit of surviving spouse succeeding title to community property without probate to change the title to my sole name. Can I do this even if the property is valued at more than 100,000? (under california code)

You will have to request approval from the court, but it will not be a full probate.
