Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I was not in a will. The beneficiaries of the trust created an agreement for me that was signed by all of the beneficiaries named in the will and the executor to receive one account that was in my name as beneficiary, one property with a mortgage lien on it that I have paid and 20% of another property that is jointly held with her parents and will be for sale immediately. What can go wrong or what kind of mistake can happen with this agreement?
