Re: will for elderly mother (90)

The determination as to the type of will and which provisions to include in a will depends on various factors, which include, among others, the types of assets of the estate, value of the estate, existence of a surviving spouse, the intended beneficiaries of the estate, and whether any tax savings strategies are involved. It is recommended that your mother seek legal counsel to fully review the various facts in order to properly advise and draft the estate plan. In addition, an attorney can assist in the determination as to whether any other estate planning documents would be advisible, such as a trust, advance health care directive, power of attorney, etc. -- Linda
