Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

When i was younger my mother and I received a settlement in a lawsuit against Meryn's store ... my mother put my money in a trust for when I turned 21 ... well I have yet to receive the money and now she says I was never rewarded any money in the law suit only her..I dont remember the lawyers name and she refuses to tell me ... how can I find out who the lawyer was and what amount was exactly left to me.... Thank you

You need to search the court records for your name in the county where the lawsuit was. Once you find the case number, you should be able to find the file and find out all the information you need.
