Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

3 months after I injured my hand the insurance company finally gave permission to have surgery on my left wrist. After 6 therapies I had to wait 4 weeks for the insurance company to OK 6 more. After those 6 which made a total of 12 sessions I had to wait 3 more months for the insurance company to OK 6 more. Do I have a case to sue the insurance company ? The injury occurred over a year ago and the last test said I was only at 60% of normal use. At this rate it will take forever to get back to 100%!

You really can't sue worker's compensation carrier directly. There are applicable penalties for example for failure to timely approve surgeries however, I highly recommend you to retain an experienced attorney who can maximize your settlement and force insurance company to pay for necessary ongoing and future medical care.
