Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

did they brake any laws

i was in a car accident last month and i was on workers comp for about a month, then i was givin the run around for workers compensation paper work no one ever called me i havent received paper work or a check its been about a month and i returned to work today and they fired me and told me they didnt have my check so they want me to pick it up friday do i have any rights

Your employer should have provided you with a list of MPN doctors for further treatment. If this was not timely done, then you had the right to a doctor outside of MPN and if you were not able to do your work, then you should have been taken off work and receive temporary disability benefits. It appears that none these has been done. As far as your termination you are still entitled to the same benefits and also petition for penalty under labor code 132(a). You are gong to need an attorney to sort this out becuase it reads like your employer may not have comp insurance. You should file a claim.
