For specifics you must consider your age and occupation. A 5% standard on claims from 2006 to date is $3,450.

Without additional information, it would be difficult to give you any kind of range of settlement you might expect. Factors involved include your date of injury, occupation, age, future medical care needs, any past temporary disability benefits owed, whether you settle your right to the Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit.

A 5% Whole Person Impairment may not be correct. But the fact that you were evaluated by an Agreed Medical Evaluator makes me suspect that you are already represented by an attorney. If so, schedule an appointment with him or her to discuss your concerns. If not, I strongly encourage you to consult with a workers' compensation attorney as soon as possible. You can locate one in your area by going to the California Applicants' Attorneys Association website at www.caaa.org. Your initial consultation is free.

Or, you may contact me at 415-655-6789. Good luck!
