Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I injured my wrist at work and I have gone through physical therapy for 3 weeks now. My job has put me on light duty and i have certain restrictions at work. I am a part time employee and before my first doctors visit my Human Resources person made me an hour and a half late for work to visit the doctors knowing i worked at a certain time. I was told since I am part time I dont get those hours back. is that true?

Secondly, my employer wont pay for my transportation. i have to ride the bus since i cant drive safely with my injury, should i get compensated for the bus fare and gas?

Instead of doing the workers' compensation waltz with your employer, why don't you contact my office for a free consultation at 1.877.505.INJURY.

Please look at prior responses over the last two weeks as to these same basis questions. You should not be losing salary for time spent at the Dr.'s and are entited to reimbursement for bus fares.

If you are having trouble to go to work and do you your work and/or you lose time for going to dr. appointments, I recommend that your doctor should take you off work temporarily and request the insurance company to pay you temporary disability benefits. You doctor can also certify you for disability and apply for State disability benefits. If your doctor refuses change your doctor. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.,
