An attorney can look up the right codes faster than you can. That's what he does for a living. Don't delay medical attention, and don't delay legal attention either. Call a lawyer.

The case will probably use civil codes and labor codes depending upon the indeminty policy of the home owner. If the home owner has no Comp insurance you will be forced to deal with the Uninsured Employer Fund, which requires some expertise. Not only do I also recommend that you seek representation, I suggest you try and find a certified specialist in WC law. Ask for a list of Panel Attorneys at the local WCAB, or alternatively look on line. I do not believe the I&A office will be much assistance due to the nature of the case.
