Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I live in Cali I got hurt at work on 1-28-18 a week later i got threatened of termination for not properly reporting the injury a week or so later got pulled for a random got fired for marajuana use while having a medical card and a copy of it in my employee file just had surgery for said injury can i collect disabilty

If the surgery was to 'cure or relieve the effects of an industrial injury" and the treating physician wrote a report stating you are Temporarily Totally Disabled as a result of this surgery, then Yes, the former employer's Workers Comp Insurance carrier owes you Temporary Total Disability Indemnity checks beginning the date the Primary Physician wrote you were temporarily disabled for any work.
