Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

medical assessment

i have been diagnosed with cts. the pain in my arms and hands are very bad, mostly at night. but i also injured my back before being told i had cts. i have not gotten rid of the pain in my back and would like to know if this may be the cause of some of the pain in arms. how long do i have to reopen a claim to be reanalized.
