Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I need money to allow myself a car that works well enough to get me to my Doctor and everyday tasks. I need at least twenty thousand dollars. I also have medical treatments and services that I have been denied until I can get them approved by State Comp Fund. I have an attorney that talks rude to me, and last time I tried to talk to him he hung up the phone. I need help. What kind of form do I need to use to ask my attorney for the things I need from State Comp Fund. The court settlement stated a monthly allotment and medical for the remainder of my life. The medical part has been really lacking

You questions show that you do not understand the WC system. Since you have settled all the issues except need for future medical care, there are only three possible sources for the money you want: 1) settle the need for treatment, which is a bad idea, especially since I would guess you do not have any medical insurance coverage; 2) get a commutation of a portion of the PD benefits from the far end of the ongoing PD award unless you l have already gotten all that money through a compromise and release; 3) convince SCIF that because of poor transportation in your area you need a car to get to needed medical appointments, not merely reimbursement for taxi usage, but it is extremely unlikely that they would accept that and certainly they would not give you $20,000 for a car when you could buy a new, small car for considerably less and you really want the car for non-injury treatment reasons.

You can ask your attorney to try these options out, but there is no miracle form that will get you $20,000 for a car.
