WC claim cash advance

I have been handling my WC claim since date of injury 9/3/05, but now I think that I need an lawyer. Is there anyway that I can receive an advance on an accepted WC claim. I am in the process of losing my residence and car. Please help. THank you

Advances on workers compensation claims may be denied, because they are not required but are up to the insurance company. You may ask for them and set forth your reasons fully and clearly and they may help you.

You may need to get an award to petition the workers compensation board for a commutation of the benefits setting forth your need for the lump sums to prevent the loss of your home or car etc.

You need to also plan ahead for when you do not get funds because they were already advanced to you.
