Work Comp after Carpal Tunnel Surgery

I recenly had Bi-lateral carpal tunnel surgery.I did not file workers comp.Now that my doctor has released me to work part time I am finding I cant do my job anymore.Can I file work comp now?

Yes. The employer is also required to engage in a meaningful process with you to determine whether your job can be modified in some way, so that you can work, including whether typing can be eliminated, you can be transferred into other positions and the like.
