Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I have had a work injury(auto accident in a company truck), went through the Workers\' Comp system, have had surgeries and finally settled my case. As part of the settlement I was to receive a monetary settlement of $84,000 made in payments since I still work for my employer at the time of the accident but now at a different position since I can no longer do the physical work required by the job. Now two years later, and after I have sued and won my case against the person who caused the accident, the Workers\' Comp Insurance carrier has petitioned the Appeals Board to stop paying the monthly payments. What can I do?

Since your employer's worker's compensation carrier paid for your medical treatment they are entitled to be reimbursed so you or your attorney need to settle with their subrogation department .
