Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

work related carpal tunnel

my husband has been painting cars for the past 5 yrs. since then he has carpal tunnel, went to the dr. a bout 3-4 years ago, but didn't file a claim, and now that it has gotten worse he schedules a surgery and the Thurs.of that same week he gets fired because ''they are making changes'' Could he open a work comp. case? The Dr. should have the record on file, on when and how bad the carpal tunnel is.

He has a continuous trauma (C.T.) type of injury which is an acceptable type of injury over a long period of time. He needs to be referred to a worker's compensation doctor (orthopedic) ASAP. Call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
