Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

My Workers comp case was settled in court on Sept 9, 2010 I still have not received the necessary papers to sign stating I agree to the settlement, is there a law on how long the defensive have to prepare the paperwork and get me my money

They have a reasonable period of time, which is not defined, but 30 days to complete everything is the rough norm. Immediately contact the adjuster on the case and ask what is happening, will they pay interest from the date of the award until you get the check as they are suppose to, wil ilt be necessary to file to obtain a penalty for unreasonable delay in payment. Ask the questions one by one in that order as they might have sent the papers out but someone else has held them up.
