Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Workers rights

I am scheduled to open a store for my company. I am schduled to report on Monday. I have been promised this store since my family was relocated, by the company, out to California in January 2008. Yesterday I was told by District Manager that if I take this store ''I will kill my career''. After a 30 minute conversation I was told not to discuss our conversation with anyone else that it stays within this room. I have worked for the company for 4 years. I have been awarded several awards and recommendations. I have never been documented for anything in my career with this company. I now feel that if I go to this job that my DM will attempt to fire me. Does this now constitue a hostile work environment? Also, should I contact my Human Resource person about this?

Re: Workers rights

if you intend to file a psychiatric injury, you should do so. Everything esle your have asked and stated is irrelevant to an industrial injury claim. Perhaps you should speak to a labor law attorney.
