Legal Question in Technology Law in Canada

Lent my Girlfriend a computer

I am 18 and i lent my girlfriend a computer. I specificly told her it was only for her to use for schoolwork and was not hers to keep. After 10 months and a bad breakup, she was willing to return the computer, until her new boyfriend ordered her not to. Now she refuses to return the computer. What are my options? There was only a verbal agreement, but i have one witness.

Re: Lent my Girlfriend a computer

Your only recourse, assuming she will not return it, is to undertake an action in small claims court. You do not need a lawyer for these proceedings and could file a statement of claim to have the computer returned or the value of it in the form of a payment to you.
