Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Canada

Can my co-signer sue me?

I had gotten a consolidated loan a couple years ago and need a co-signer. I did get someone to sign and unfortunately i was careless and ended up getting some more debt in my name, i was unable to keep up payments with the loan and other debt and my co-signer has now paid the consolidated loan off in full because they were coming after her for payments, my question to you is can she now sue me for what she had to pay towards the joint loan?
