theft over $5,000

How do I defend myself against a fomer employer,who claimed I wrote my own amounts on the payroll checks,and the owner signed the checks,and claimed he never looked at them for verifaction.

I suppose this will be a case of conflicting versions between you and your former employer. A judge will have to decide based on credibility and the strength of the crown's case.

When you have a tooth ache you go see a dentist, when you are charged with a criminal offense, you go see a lawyer.
