Legal Question in International Law in Canada

Selling on Consignment Cross Border

I am a Canadian citizen who sent a musical instrument to a US company to sell on consignment. I am told that it was sold quite awhile ago, however after dozens of phone calls from us and excuses from them, the money isn't here yet. Do we have any legal recourse? Yes there was a contract.

Most likely your best legal recourse is small claims court where the defendant is located, complaints to the Better Business Bureau, the CA attorney general's office, and anyone else you can think of. We have an office in CA, but we don't normally handle small claims; the legal fees are too high to justify it.
