Legal Question in Traffic Law in Canada

What do i do?

Hey... in January of 2007 i was on my way back from Toronto, Ontario Canada heading home towards Detroit Michigan... on my way back i was driving my truck and got pulled over for having a radar detector... the cops took the radar detector away and they gave me a ticket for 200 dollars... i threw it away and never cared... went back to michigan and went on with my life... now i need to go back to Canada and i am worried about crossing the boarder... i want to also take my truck up there, the same truck i got the ticket in... same license plate... and i want to know if they will give me problems at the boarder? if so, how can i go about solving this problem? i dont even know where or in what county i got this ticket... any advice would greatly be appreciated...

Thanks

Moe

I think I would hire an attorney so he can arrange for you to pay the ticket and the fines that have accumulated. While I not certain if the border patrol on the Canadian side will know about the ticket, if you get stopped by the police for some other infraction, I have a feeling you won't just get another ticket to throw out but will end up in jail until your case is heard. Give me a call if you need help with this.
