Re: banned for export technology

The Bureau of Industry and Security is responsible for implementing and enforcing the Export Administration Regulations, which regulate the export and reexport of most commercial items.

They do not control all goods, services, and technologies. Other U.S. government agencies regulate more specialized exports. For example, the U.S. Department of State has authority over defense articles and defense services.

If you are concerned, the definitive answer could be obtained from consulting the US Embassy in China and asking them for an opinion. We can assist you to obtain such opinion.
