Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Colorado

harassment + non civil and civil authorites

I have noticed people following me. I do not know who they are. I phoned the police to complain. An officer explained that anyone can follow another person.

Is there a law that can stop a person from being harrassed?

At the present time I am trying to photograph the people that are following me. They seem to know my patterns for work and such.

Thanks.

Re: harassment + non civil and civil authorites

There are Stalking laws which provide progressive penalities for those who follow and interfere with others.

You must have proof, however, and that may be difficult. Photographs with a witness present would be best. Be sure to document times/dates/places and who was present.
