Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Colorado

I paid to have a mortgage audit and was promised that if I was not approved to get a mortgage audit rebate, I'd get the money I paid to have it done back. I fulfilled everything required of me to get my money back and it's been past the approximate date they gave me and now when I call they say they've closed their doors to new business but are still working on audits rebates and or refunds. I am no longer able to speak with a real person and am given email addresses if I have questions or concerns. I've waited patiently, LONG ENOUGH and am very upset at their empty promises. What can I do???????

Sorry, but these companies are often scams. It is always best to speak with an attorney first before you consider these kinds of services. So review your agreement terms and consider a lawsuit, but this will be extremely costly (and you may be required to sue in another state or use alternative dispute resolution). Finally, even if you spend the time and money to sue, you still have to collect, which may not happen.

Sorry and good luck.
