Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Colorado

I took out a payday loan in2008. Here in Colorado. I didn'y pay it back as for I did get laid off and my acct was closed by the bank. Now I have a PI calling me and all my family telling them that it is check fraud and if not paid a bench warrant we be put out on me. The PI is calling from TX. They will not do a payment plan with me. One I can afford. thank you for your help

Alot of these PI firms are fraudulent and are using illegal debt collection practices.. I suggest you contact an attorney that can help with your debt options. We can help you.
