Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

I have a 3 year old outstanding warrant, that I am walking into court to settle. Will I expect to be arrested before going in front of the Judge?? Does jail time need to be served on any outstanding warrants??

Jail time DOES NOT need to be served on outstanding warrants. You cannot do this yourself (you will be arrested) but a third person (attorney) can try to get the warrant quashed. If you just show up in court, you will be arrested, and before you go before a judge. After a few days in jail, you will go before a judge. Crazy right?
