Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

I was charged with harrassment in routt county, then received a deferment for the misdemeanor. A few days later, I was arrested for a felony and a misdemeanor. At this time, is it advisable that I seek legal counsel with an attourney, or will the DA be enough for this first time criminal event.

No, the DA is only there to Prosecute you; not to help you. Not only do you have these new charges, but the previous case is now coming back to life. Condition 1 of any probation or deferred sentence is that you have no new charges. The new case will be used to violate condition one of your old case. Even if you are offered a "no jail" sentence on the new case, the DA can ask for jail on the old case. You need counsel.
