Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

Extradition?

My husband is out on community after serving six months. He was arrested last Tuesday (one week ago)for violation of community...he was charged with not returning a rental vehicle (his lawyer was supposed to have notified the rental agency that he was in jail and could not return the vehicle but the lawyer never did), stolen vehicle, theft of $500 and is in the county jail. I have made full restitution to the rental agency and they have written to the state attorney notifying him that they wish to release all charges since restitution has been made. How long can they hold him before he can be released back to commuity?

Re: Extradition?

They can hold him until he completes his term. He may request a hearing with the Judge that sentenced him to tell him what happened and to see if he can go back to the community.
