Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
While waiting for my nephew to be sentenced i sent a text message a the judge asked for my phone i handed it over thinking he would give it back when we left. !How ever he will not return it for a WEEKis this legal?

Judges get a lot of lattitude in maintaining order in their courtroom. While the means might not be exactly kosher, it is much better than having the judge hold you in contempt and send you to jail.
