Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

dui and moving to another state

I currently have an interlock device installed in my vehicle. I just got my license back, with the restriction that i must drive a vehicle with interlock installed for 2 years. I want to move from Colorado to Nebraska. Is this allowable? I of course will keep the interlock as required. Will I be able to obtain a Nebraska license with the same interlock restriction?

Re: dui and moving to another state

It is my understanding that the interlock can be waived if you are a resident of another state and don't drive in Colorado. Contact Driver Services at 3032055613 to confirm and find out what paperwork you need to file with Colorado.
