Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

Hey there

I am a 19 year old male in Colorado, currently on probation for a D.W.A.I. that I was charged with in late march of last year. It has been over a year since the offense, and I have completed all of the requirements of my DUI probation: classes, therapy, community service, MADD panel. Everything. As part of my probation I have been on monthly drug tests, and the last 2 months I have tested positive for THC(of my own doing). My PO has told me that he will "write a complaint to the court" if I fail another drug test (which I have, at this point). My question is :

What are the possible ramifications of him "writing a complaint to the court" at this stage in my probation? I have had friends get to this stage and be sent back to court, the only punishment being a few days work crew, but the sentencing is different for DUI...What can I say to my Probation officer to avoid being sent to jail? Please keep in mind, all the other requirements of my probation have been met since the last time I saw him

More important is who the judge is and what you say to him. You should take a lawyer to court with you.
