Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

I am trying to find out what to do about my child custody situation. My ex husband and I have a custody plan and such. But last night I was called by the police and told to come get my three young daughters as he was arrested for being drunk. It says in our plan he is not allowed to drink at all when they are with him. I have my children right now eventhough it is his night. I can't afford a huge retainer for a lawyer. Is there a form or petition I could fill out or something? Please help... Thank you in advance. Kate

I believe that I may have answered this question previously; however, it seems like the best option is to apply for an emergency order to restrict parenting time. The court will grant a hearing within 14 days. You should definitely not do this alone because it could back fire if not done properly.

Give us a call and we can set you up for an appointment. Time is limited if you plan on filing for an emergency order.
