jurisdiction

mom was staying in church shelter child was removed by state, child is temp in wa. w/grandma. mom is in now in wa. does co. still have jurisdiciton of child? can a petition for temp. custody in wa. be filed without involving co. state?

You have not provided the information that controls on this question. Mere physical presence is not sufficient if it is temporary (anything over 6 months is generally not considered temporary), emergency situations allow for WA courts to have jurisdiction (but it has to be a real emergency).
