Legal age to claim independence

Within the state of Colorado, at what age can a child claim independence from their parent or parent, and at what age can they be emanicpated?

Emancipation of a minor

I don't know about your state, but in NC the age is 16, and certain requirements must be met and proven by the minor. Look up "emancipation of a minor" in the state statutes books at the local public library or courthouse law library.
