Legal Question in Medical Leave in Colorado

FMLA... when you are forced to drain your bank.

When you take FMLA, in Colorado, can you be forced to zero out your vacation bank? And if so, by law, does that count towards your 12 weeks unpaid FMLA that you are allowed?

Thank you

The answer to both your questions is yes. An employer may require you to use all your accrued paid leave such as vacation or sick days as part of your FMLA leave and the time does count towards the 12 weeks.
