Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Colorado

Failure to honor warranty

If a roofing company fails to honor a warranty for repair (hasn't even looked at the possible repair and never got a building permit in the first place)what amount may I sue for in court? The amount of the repair or the amount of the original cost of the roof?
