Returning gifts after break up
During a break up, my ex threw a ring I gave him at me in my home and said he never wanted it back and that it was not good enough for him. The argument continued and I told him to leave . He then decided he wanted the ring back and I refused to give it back due to some damage he did to my home. He called the police and they drove him to a hotel since he had been drinking.
He is now threatening me with a felony, when I did not ''steal'' the ring - he threw it at me and said he did not want it.
I returned the item a couple of days after he gave it back and exchanged it for gifts for family members.
Can I really be charged with a felony?

You can be charged with anything; the trick is to prove it. It sounds like you gave him a ring, and he gave it back. I seriously doubt a DA would charge this one. Your ex will have difficulty explaining how his ring, which would be secure on his finger, wound up in your home.
I suspect your ex is merely bullying you. Ignore the threat until there's an actual charge.
