Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado

I-94 extension

Hello, I am a Citizen.

My mother arrived to the States with a Tourist Visa and I petitioned her. INS received the I-130 application on Dec 05, 2006 and a Receipt of Notice was mailed to us on Dec 08, 2006

My mother's I-94 will expire on Mar 18, 2007

Do I have to apply for an extension of her I-94 to cover the length process of the petition?

Or, will the I-130 petition will cover her stay until it has been fully approved.

Thank you,

Re: I-94 extension

If your I-130 visa petition is seeking immediate relative status for your mother, and it is clearly approvable, there should be no need for her to seek an extension of her stay, but did she also file for adjustment of status (I-485)? I suggest you meet with an immigration attorney to review what has been filed.
