Legal residency requirements

A friend of mine wants to know if theres a chance to apply for legal residency under the current law, since he's been illegal for 10 years and never been in jail, always had a good record, and bought a house, he thinks that he may qualify for a "green card". Thanks to you all. PS. Since he does not speak english, I'm helping him by posting and translating this and any responses that it may generate.

Legal residency requirements.

Unfortunately, on the basis of the informtation you have given, your friend has no basis for legal residencey under the laws that are currently in effect.
