Re: us resident

Maybe, but not on the information you provided me. At worst, I could add your information to people I have on a list for when law changes to contact at that time. On the other hand, you may be eligible today depending on things like whether anyone in your family was ever petitioned for during your lifetime, what the immigration status of your parents is, when any petitions were filed or registration at a US consulate abroad, the manner of your entry, etc.

Feel free to be in touch directly at [email protected]

Re: us resident

With the right petition, yes, it is possible; however, it is likely you will have to return to Mexico and consular process -- this would apply if a petitioner files on your behalf such as a U.S. citizen spouse, or an employer, or some family member. This would not be required if a petition had been filed for you prior to April 30, 2001, at which time you would have been about 11 years old. Consular processing is not difficult, but is an inconvenience. If you are 18 now, you are accruing unlawful presence in the U.S. which will require a waiver. This is not required if your unlawful presence occurs under the age of 18. 18 is the magic number and you and your family should already be talking to a good immigration lawyer. Good luck.
